  I'll start this review off by saying that I have been here a few times over the years and had reasonable success as I have had a lot of vehicles to license. I had one other issue not highlighted here that didn't bother me too much but I've had enough. However, on my last two visits I have been pretty frustrated. I bought an older project car that needs paint and mechanical work so it was cheap. I went down with all paperwork in hand to get it titled and was told I needed a declaration of used car value form signed by myself and the previous owner since the value was more than 2000 less than book value. Okay, great, thats fine. She said she could do the title only (as an inoperable vehicle) as the car needs emissions but does not restart once its warmed up so therefore I could not make it to an emission test station until this problem is fixed. Once that was fixed I could get emissions and get it registered. Great, not a problem. Well after meeting up with the seller and getting the form signed and coming back about a week later I was told another story. I cannot get the title transferred over since the car isn't "inoperable". Okay great so now what? I cant get emissions because the car won't pass and isnt safe to drive. Its a manual and if it were to stall out I would be stuck, no restarting the car. But I also can't get the title transferred over because this lady thinks a car that is unsafe to drive is "operable" Unless your transaction is as simple as tab renewal, stay far away from this place because they don't know what they're doing or how a car works.

  These guys are jerks. I call at 1pm on a Saturday because I realized I needed to update my tabs and the lady on the other line, sounding bored and irritated and quite frankly, snotty, quickly says they can update my tabs and they're open until 2 pm. Before I can even ask if they are busy, she hangs up on me. So I quickly drove over there after waking up my son from his nap, the building is SO full of people that I can't even step foot inside. I open the door and it's just people everywhere. I stand there for a second and no one greets me, no one even looks up from what they're doing to say take a number, nothing. There's people all over the sidewalk out front that haven't even been helped yet! It's now 20 minutes before they close and there's no way I can get this done on Sunday because obviously they're closed on Sundays. Had the moron lady at the DOL just told me over the phone that they were so busy I would be wasting my time, I wouldn't even have gone in, let alone wake my son from his nap to hurry over to that filthy dump of a licensing building and wasted my time. Your customer service sucks whether you're a government building with no standards or not. Teach your staff not to hang up on customers before they can get a word in. Also let them know over the phone if you're tiny little office is packed and worthless to try and get in. Why don't you spend some days training your useless staff to actually help people rather than be completely rude to them? How about a little customer service standards? What a worthless building to be doing any business there.
